Todays Battles

So many cross currents in the current event section. Judging from the press it's getting, you would think the house wasn't held in check by the Senate and the President. It's coming down to a colossal game of chicken, each side will dig in, and the great shut down of 2011 will commence. But before that some very inhumane people decided to take a swipe at Planned Parenthood.

Hitting below the belt politics also showed itself in Madison, as dispersions were cast down on the people there  who are just trying to hang on to the last shred of worker dignity. Tomorrow, we get the theatrical version of street activism funded and staged by the Koch productions, when the "teaparty" has it's rally.

This is the moment of truth for Wisconsin Labor, can they be provoked by the goons that are headed their way tomorrow, or will they remember the teachings of Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Wavy Gravy?

Speaking of good ol Hugh Romney, if you really want to put your good where it will do the most, I suggest a donation to the Seva foundation... Right Here
Seva-supported partners performed more than 30,000 cataract surgeries this year.

Now that's what I call a counter move!
