How to engage in nonviolent revolution?
This is the question for our times... "Do you have the stomach for your part?" Will you commit to changing your personal 5 meter sphere of influence? Choose your path or it will choose you.

Revolution or Slavery ?
My Friends and Family,
When we see what is happening now in the mid-east, and what is happening in America today, It occurs to me, that we will either choose change or it will choose us.
So, I am asking you to look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself 3 questions..
"Am I willing to fight for change?"
"Is there an event or condition which would leave me no choice but to take up the call to revolution?"
"What are the solutions to our current problems?"
I myself have already crossed the Rubicon. I have spent the better part of the last 11 years researching what is wrong with our country and what the solutions are. I have reached some conclusions and made some personal vows to myself. With every revelation of the corruption and overt crimes which are being perpetrated on people, I come to the same question.
What can I... what can "we" do about it?
What are the solutions?
You see I am not asking you anything I haven't asked myself.
Here are my answers;
1. The closing of the Federal Reserve Bank and a return to monetary policy which fits the parameters set forth in the Constitution of the united states.
2. The elimination of the IRS and all related US Treasury departments, via a simple flat tax. No exemptions, no deductions, and no "brackets" simple percentage taxation for every person.
3. The revocation of "standing" for business entities in our court system. Corporations should not be afforded the same or similar rights as persons.
There are so many more issues, but these are my top 3.
What about you..?

Yes peacefully and with non-violent tactics. "Is there an event or condition which would leave me no choice but to take up the call to revolution?"
Yes it has already happened, a series of related crimes committed by my own government and the private institutions which my government refuses to stop feeding."What are the solutions to our current problems?"
I believe there are 3 key changes which must occur before America can be free;1.

Todays Battles
So many cross currents in the current event section. Judging from the press it's getting, you would think the house wasn't held in check by the Senate and the President. It's coming down to a colossal game of chicken, each side will dig in, and the great shut down of 2011 will commence. But before that some very inhumane people decided to take a swipe at Planned Parenthood.
Hitting below the belt politics also showed itself in Madison, as dispersions were cast down on the people there who are just trying to hang on to the last shred of worker dignity. Tomorrow, we get the theatrical version of street activism funded and staged by the Koch productions, when the "teaparty" has it's rally.
This is the moment of truth for Wisconsin Labor, can they be provoked by the goons that are headed their way tomorrow, or will they remember the teachings of Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Wavy Gravy?
Speaking of good ol Hugh Romney, if you really want to put your good where it will do the most, I suggest a donation to the Seva foundation... Right Here
Seva-supported partners performed more than 30,000 cataract surgeries this year.
Now that's what I call a counter move!

From Freedom to Fascism
Aaron Russo made an important film, which all my friends should watch in it's entirety. Especially given that it is Presidents Day Weekend.

A New Begining
Today I woke up with the idea that I would begin to place thoughts and information into a blog, that up to now, have been ending up on Facebook. While I will still be using Facebook for things that are fun and promote my music, I decided I wanted to put my revolutionary ideas in a space which was more suited to that. This blog will reflect a more social & political activist type of thinking and expression. I hope to begin something here which was inspired by the writings of a man named Joel Wendt.
Specifically he has written a piece called Counter Moves. This talks about the general population coming together to resist the encroachment of elite oligarchs, through the use of renewal groups, as well as strategies of resistance which are arising out of a new awakening in America.
Part of the path to renewal, must come from acquiring new ways of engaging each other across what are considered political divides, through practicing something called Compassionate Listening.
I am certain there are many paths forward together, so these are offered as a starting point.
Warm Regards,
